Bloom Pace ("Bloom Pace", "we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the Bloom Pace mobile application.
Bloom Pace does not require users to create a traditional account or provide a name, email address, or password in order to use the app.
The app uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. This creates a technical, anonymous user identifier (UID) that allows Bloom Pace to provide features such as free plant identification limits and Bloom Pace Pro entitlement verification.
Depending on how you use the app, the following information may be processed:
When you choose to identify a plant, the selected image is transmitted through Bloom Pace's backend infrastructure and sent to the plant-identification service provided by Kindwise (Plant.id).
The image is used to perform the requested plant identification. Bloom Pace does not sell plant images or use them for advertising.
Images and other content that remain stored locally on your device are not transmitted by Bloom Pace unless this is necessary for a feature that you explicitly choose to use, such as plant identification.
Bloom Pace may use artificial intelligence services to generate practical plant-care information such as light exposure, watering, pruning, fertilization, and suggested care schedules.
Plant species information may be processed through Bloom Pace's backend and AI service providers in order to generate this information. Bloom Pace may cache plant-care information in its database so that the same information does not need to be generated repeatedly.
Plant-care information is provided for general informational purposes and should not be considered professional agricultural, botanical, or safety advice.
Bloom Pace uses Google Firebase and Google Cloud services for backend functionality, including anonymous authentication, cloud functions, and database operations.
These services may process technical information necessary to operate, secure, and protect the service.
Bloom Pace offers an optional one-time purchase called Bloom Pace Pro. Purchases are processed by Google Play.
Bloom Pace does not receive or store your payment card details. Google Play handles payment processing.
Bloom Pace processes purchase-related identifiers and information necessary to verify a valid purchase, activate Bloom Pace Pro, and restore the purchase when appropriate. This may include a Google Play purchase token, product identifier, order identifier, purchase status, and the anonymous Bloom Pace user identifier.
Bloom Pace relies on third-party services to provide some functionality. These may include:
These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Bloom Pace does not contain third-party advertising SDKs and does not use personal data for targeted advertising.
Bloom Pace does not sell users' personal data.
Bloom Pace may request permission to send notifications in order to remind you about plant-care activities that you have scheduled.
Notification scheduling is handled on the device. You can disable notifications through your device settings.
Bloom Pace retains backend information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the app's functionality, manage usage limits, verify purchases, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Plant-care information cached by Bloom Pace may be retained independently of individual users because it contains general information associated with plant species rather than a user's personal profile.
Because Bloom Pace uses anonymous authentication rather than a traditional user account, users may not have a conventional account-management page.
If you wish to request deletion of backend information associated with your use of Bloom Pace, or if you have another privacy-related request, contact us at the email address below. We may request information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant anonymous account or purchase while protecting other users' data.

Bloom Pace uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by the app. Communications with online services are transmitted using secure network connections where supported by the relevant service providers.
However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Bloom Pace is not specifically designed or directed toward children. We do not knowingly request children to provide personal information through a traditional registration process.
If you believe that information relating to a child has been processed inappropriately, please contact us so that we can review the request.
Some service providers used by Bloom Pace may process information on servers located outside your country. Where applicable, such processing is subject to the safeguards and legal mechanisms provided by the relevant service providers and applicable data-protection law.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Bloom Pace changes or when necessary to reflect legal, technical, or operational requirements.
When the policy is updated, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be changed accordingly.
